More than 100 thousand people have taken the TEB Family Academy Training scheme as of the end of 2013, and FU’s lawyers and other specialists are now eligible to serve as trainers.
The TEB Family Academy was set up to raise the awareness of financial literacy within Turkish society and to do so in a quantifiable way. The springboard for this project is ‘Economy starts in the Family’.
At the TEB Family Academy, attendees are trained in budgeting and budget management, tactics to control family expenses, the management of debts, investment strategies, individual pensions, and the correct use of credit.
Training sessions are provided by branch managers and volunteering TEB employees who have been specially trained.
FU’s lawyers are now also eligible to serve as trainers at the TEB Family Academy Training project. By the end of 2013 more than 100 thousand people had attended these sessions. FU continues to support this worthwhile project which is highly commended by those who have attended.
