Mr. Ertuğrul Bul, the former Zurich Insurance CEO, joins the FU family as the new CEO at FU Gayrimenkul Yatirim Danismanlık A.S.
Mr. Ertuğrul Bul arrives at FU after working at executive level for many years in the insurance sector. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Public Sciences Department of the School of Political Sciences at Ankara University. This was followed by postgraduate studies at Middle East Technical University and the Ziraat Bank Banking and Insurance School. Mr. Bul’s professional career began when he was recruited by Ziraat Bank in 1991, which was followed by a position at the Audit Committee at Garanti Bank and a career at Garanti Insurance. Afterwards he became CEO at TEB Insurance, and following the sale of the company he was promoted to the CEO position at Zurich Insurance. Later on he and his wife set up Sigortadükkanim.com which specializes in online insurance policy sales and this venture was sold to Marsh in 2012. Mr. Ertuğrul Bul was officially unveiled as the CEO at FU on the 2nd of October 2013.
FU was established in 2005 to provide the insurance services of 16 banks and 27 financial institutions with the guarantee of mortgage transactions, which they have established as collateral for their loans. FU is now at the service of 5755 bank branches, with 449 law firms and 792 lawyers operating in 81 provinces around Turkey and in the TRNC. We operate under the service assurance report issued by KPMG, the independent auditor firm, in Type II, that meets the requirements of ISAE 3402 standards under the BRSA Outsourcing Services.
