FU Gayrimenkul celebrates its 10th anniversary with its employees

Mr. Zekeriya Yıldırım, our Board Chairman, was unable to attend the event but he sent the following message: “FU is ultimately the product of the visionary and creative approaches of its founders. It was the first such company of its sector. The sector has since grown in its competitiveness but FU has never left its pioneering position; it has never shied away. What is the secret of its success? It is, in fact, very simple: The secret of this success can be considered in the form of a triangle, in what I call the “golden triangle”. To one side of the baseline lie the human resources while the opposite side represents innovation, research, development and the application of information technology. The peak of the triangle accommodates the corporate management. Thanks to this Golden Triangle, FU shareholders, employers, suppliers and customers have become a large family with a focus on ever increasing performance and success.”

Mr. Zekeriya Yıldırım’s message was followed by a presentation by Mr. Ertuğrul Bul that gave an overview of 2014 whilst looking ahead to both the Turkish and global economic outlook of 2015. Mr. Bul also discussed the general expectations of the company and its specific 10th anniversary targets.

The event was also attended by Mr. Sunay Akın who is a poet, author, journalist, researcher, stage actor and the founder of the Istanbul Toy Museum. He took to the stage to tell the story of the legal procedure involved in the foundation of the Istanbul Toy Museum, and regaled his audience with a pleasant journey through the history of Turkish and European law.

Later on FU employees took part in a workshop designed by M3 Works which saw them assemble bicycles that were bought for successful students from Harbiye Elementary School. This workshop was intended to develop and reinforce team spirit. Our employees also taught the students how to ride the bikes and they had as much fun as the children.

Before the gala banquet service plaques were presented to those employees who have been with the FU family for five years. A further two plaques were given to commemorate employees who had made proposals for improvements that had evolved into practical applications. Under a new system FU’s employees are encouraged to make proposals that will contribute to our development.

Following the presentations our employees celebrated in style to the performance of Harun Kolçak. A wonderful night was had by everybody and we look forward to celebrating the successes of the next 10 years.
