Marketing Magazine has published an article called ‘I Learnt to Trade by Selling Lemons’ which features a fascinating interview with FU CEO Mr. Ertuğrul Bul. In this article the day-to-day management of FU Gayrimenkul is discussed as well as our trail-blazing Sağlam Tapu service. The impact of the Real Estate Consultancy Sector Evaluation was also considered.
Here is an extract from the article in which Ertuğrul Bul discusses Sağlam Tapu’s genesis:
"On average one point two million residences / houses are sold in Turkey every year. One-third of these sales are mortgaged, and at FU we already hold the lion’s share of these. However the remaining 800,000 sales are highly problematic, and this is why we wanted to develop a product that could give assurance to consumers. In this way the Sağlam Tapu service was born. We anticipate reaching sales figures of 2,250 for Sağlam Tapu in 2016".
