FU’s lawyers met at the Antalya Su Hotel between 21-23 February for the 2014 convention.
The 2014 convention was honoured by Mr. Zekeriya Yıldırım, the Board Chairman of FU, as well as by Mr. Kerim Oktay Yalman, Mr. Gökhan Arıkoç and Mr. Ertuğrul Bul, our CEO. The convention helped us reach vital conclusions that will ensure FU’s 2014 targets will be met.
Our CEO Mr. Ertuğrul Bul delivered the opening speech of the 2014 convention, and this was followed by a presentation entitled ‘An Overview of 2013 and the Expectations of the Global and Turkish Economies for 2014’.
Zekeriya Yıldırım, our Board Chairman, noted in his speech that FU is a huge and ever-expanding family in which he is exceptionally proud and happy to be a part of.
This was followed by a workshop in which the 2014 targets were evaluated. Its focus was on the ways to ensure more effective work on the part of FU. The roles and tasks of FU’s lawyers were also considered, and how the measures they take can enhance FU’s influence in light of the current conditions of the sector. Three groups consisting of 15 lawyers held an intra-group discussion about the necessary actions to be taken to reach the targets. The results of the workshop were re-assessed in a meeting in which Gokhan Arıkoç, our Board Member, was the facilitator. This meeting was attended by all lawyers and FU management.
Before the gala banquet on the evening of that day, service plaques were presented to our 32 lawyers who have been with us for five years or more.
In the evening there was a gala banquet which saw the presentation of service plaques to 32 of our lawyers who have been with us for five years or more. Following the presentation and the fabulous banquet our team enjoyed the music of Bora Öztoprak. After the hard work of 2013 our spirits were high as we eventually welcomed 2014.
